You say grace before meals.
All right.
But I say grace before the play and the opera,
And grace before I open a book,
And grace before sketching, painting,
Swimming, fencing, boxing, walking, playing, dancing;
And grace before I dip the pen in the ink.
{G.K. Chesterton}

This is simple but profound. Chesterton is masterful at uniting those two concepts. The idea of this quote reminds me of a blog post I read on the website of the band The City Harmonic. It starts with a Celtic proverb that says "Milking the cow is holy"….(http://thecityharmonic.com/2010/11/the-whole-story/).That grabbed my attention! I can't afford not to see God revealed in every facet and location of my life and in the life of those around me. Thanks for always shining a light.
I love that — milking the cow is holy.
